turbo or not? 2008/01/24 15:34 Karma: 1
I sometimes get really bored waiting for people to play their cards. Is playing turbo the answer?

depends what games you play I guess... for sngs turbo isn't just about the timeout on playing cards, it's more about the level times between increasing blinds.

I play a lot of sngs and while my win rate is higher with longer levels being able to play more turbos about balances it out. On the whole I prefer the standard timings though but then I am doddery old fool so don't listen to me!

I'm not a big fan of playing turbo in cash games, I really don't get annoyed with people "take too long". If someone is actually playing slow (like probably has slow connection) I can always join another table and comfortably play 2 tables at once.

Yeah I agree with that, slower play allows you to play more tables at once. Give it a go and let us know how you get on

First u r turbo c folder might be corrupt and next u r Operating system might be not suuporting 16-bit dos system.if it is windows XP it will support automatically but in case of vista or 7 u must install DOS BOX for the C++ compiler to run in the full mode.first install Turbo c as folder named TC.next install DOS BOX and double click to open in it.it opens as cmd prompt with name as DOSBOX.
