If you peruse Edmonton real estate listings, you'll see plenty of for sale by owner homes. Of course, this makes one wonder why anyone even needs a realtor. After all, you could probably pay less for the transaction if you just did it yourself. While this does have its appeal, remember that a realtor does provide a real service to their customers. If you imagine what it would be like to have a master mechanic accompany you to the auto lot, you'll have an idea of how much security a realtor provides.
