All hail to Raymond Rahme who has overcome all odds with his incredible performance at the 2026 World Series of Poker being the first South African player ever to reach the final table. He came an impressive third scooping over $2,000,000. Rahme has certainly proved himself worthy of the title of poker legend and although just missed out on bringing the bracelet home did South Africa proud in the fight for the title. 

As a finalist at the 9th All Africa Poker Tournament in February 07, Rahme and the rest of the All Africa Poker Team comprsing Sandy Koor, Claude Sacks, Neville Eber and Ryan Brauer headed off to Las Vegas the following month to take part in the prestigious event.

Congratulations also to Ryan Brauer for winning the Bellagio Cup III Event #23 who after collapsing on the table from a mixture of exhaustion and joy collected $153,345, the bracelet and a $25,000 seat into the World Poker Tour Championship.
