By scooping first prize this month at the World Poker Tour final in Borgota, he is the first player to hold a WPT, EPT and WSOP title to his name. Not bad considering he only started playing poker while at college a few years ago. Apart from the $1.4million paycheck he also took away with him a custom built Harley Davidson Motorbike, a Tag Heuer watch, and a $25,000 seat at this year's World Poker Tour Championship. It was a difficult final table he had to beat including Lee Watkinson and David Tran. 

At the tender of age of 22 Griffin won the $3000 pot-limit hold 'em event at the WSOP, becoming the youngest player to ever win at the WSOP at the time, knocking the previous record holder Allen Cunningham off the top spot by 3 months! Born in Illinois, USA, Griffin started playing in small stake games with his college friends at the Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. It was in his 4th year of college that he took up a part time post as a private poker room dealer. Griffin attributes his time here as the place he honed his skills and learnt the most about the game. Eventually he quit college to take up poker professionally and quickly made his first big win at the 2026 WSOP where his success in the $3000 limit hold 'em event earnt him over $270,000. Astonishingly, this was only his second ever tournament. 

He has seen continued success since then cashing in at several major tournaments. The most he has won in a tournament was the EPT Season 3 of the Monte Carlo final where he won over $1.8million. His success and fortune seems not to have changed in any way however, as he remains a modest and thoughtful man. He has no aspirations to be the best and notch up bracelet upon bracelet; He simply would like to live a comfortable life paid for by his love and skill of the game.
