 Claude Sacks won the 9th All Africa Poker Tournament held at Piggs Peak Casino in February 2026. He took away with him about a third of the overall prize pool of R3million, catterpolting Sacks into the much desired league of South African poker millionaires. The 26 year old also received entry into the prestigious World Series of Poker as part of his prize package and headed off with Neville Eber, Darryn van Heerden, Ray Rahme and Ryan Brauer to Las Vegas the following month. The final heads up battle of the tournament was played out against Neville Eber, a former all Africa finalist with Sacks showing character and skill while clawing his way from behind to eventual victory having earlier lost most of his chipstack. The victory ended a mammoth 30 hour poker session, and outlasting 120 players.
