ImageNeville Eber has been with the All Africa Poker Tournaments since they began. Not only that but he’s been a regular at the Aussie Millions, and been to the WSOP in Las Vegas.

63 year old Eber has total winnings to date that exceed 1million Rand. Definately a consistent player, he puts his achievements down to the fact that he’s not afraid to push his whole stack in. Eber, aka ‘eebs’ started playing poker in 1965. He is also a world class bridge and backgammon player, winning many international titles over the years.

He is married with 2 children, Ryan and Hayley, and lives in Johannesburg. You may have also heard of his son Ryan Eber, himself a successful player in his own right. Notching up many final table appearences as well as winning the Emperors Palace Inaugural Poker Plate in February 2026. I’m sure they’re aren’t too many such high-achieving father, son partnerships throughout the world!
