Yeah second that.

I've been using it for maybe 5 years now and it is the single most useful piece of software I have ever owned.

My current setup has the PT database running on a Postrgesql database on a Linux machine while I have a dedicated XP box with a PT client sitting 24/7 datamining tables on Full Tilt and Party.

For those of you that don't datamine it basically means having tables open so PT can 'watch' other players and record how they play. This means with PT and PA HUD (another essential piece of software) when I sit down at a table I may have stats about a player right there in front of me even if I haven't played against him myself before... about as cool as it gets!

If you're serious about your online lay then look at these tools - I'm happy to help out anyone here with any advice on the setup,

I currently do not have any poker tracker software, however it sounds really neat and helpful. Looks like I'm gonna have to check it out sometime.

How does this works? Can it give me more winnings? I like to have one if its that the case.

Basically it keeps track of every hand you play online - it does this by reading in the hand histories.

You can then do a lot of different things like analyse your play to look for the leaks or check out your opponents plays to look for exploits.

Like everything in life though it's not a magic bullet, you need to put work into it but it will reward the effort!

Yeah It won't actually just hand out more winnings, it's a tool to help you read hands from opponents, you have to know the basics of poker and how people bet.

This can be very helpful if players know how to use it.

I had never heard of it before and recently searched for one, and it is very neat.
