Fighting/boxing scenes and chariots races are often depicted on late-Hallstatt situlae; we can also assume that Iron Age Celts had some other competition based on athletic and war abilities (running, throwing javelines...).

But what about other "sports"?
Tain bò Cùailnge mention something similar to hurling played with a club and a ball. Are there earlier and or continental evidences?
